Hi !

Was directed to this wonderful forum by a friend....

I am writing from Singapore, far far away... currently driving an 4200GT Cambiocorsa and loving every minute..

My previous rides include a BMW 320 coupe, BMW 325 cabriolet, a mini cooper and a Mitsubishi EVO IX... but the maser really rocks! Definitely the best car I have owned so far.. :>

My car is the "facelifted" one - with the new kit as well as the larger trident/grille in front..

Looking to add on a TUBI... (what an awesome sound...) but its kind of pricey though... also hoping to add some 19 inches HREs sometime in the future..

Possible only regret - that I didnt buy the gransport!!!!! haha...

Hope to learn some good stuff over here and share my passion for the mystique and lure of the Trident.

Cheers!

welcome

say again, very welcome. looking forward to your postings. i just have really have enjoyed years of road trips 17000 miles, so far. town travel is a constant attention getter, some added attraction. straight pipes will get the same sound more/less as high$ pipe kit. really a little to loud for me, try removing rear ones first. i was very pleased with the sound results. bought my 02cc spyder in Dec. of 2002 would have more miles, but i own 18 maserati. they are all special.

You've got a single muffler back of the catalytic converter (I'm assuming you have those in Singapore) and then there's a smaller resonator box further downstream right behind each set of quad tips.

You can remove those resonators and replace them with straight pipes (and tuned tips) for a much better sound and slight gain in HP from reduced backpressure.
