My wife and I have decided to sell our 2013 GT convertible and we accepted an offer today. Tomorrow morning I'll be driving the car for the last time as I deliver it to the buyer. I was quite surprised at what we got for the car and it really is true that the used car market is CRAZY right now.

We had a lot of fun with the Granturismo and it will definitely be missed!

The market is stupid..I have a sweet BMW E30..Owned since I was 23..If I had it back together, then I would be signing the title over trust me..Jason

Any ideas to what you are replacing it with or getting next?
My wife wants a Charger Hellcat Redeye widebody...go figure! She'll most likely get one and I will be looking for an F-car 458 or 488. It will be fun to have both.

Enjoyed the camaraderie...best of everything to you guys ✌
Thank you sir!

JW... drop your butt in a 2020 AM Vantage before you get that 4xx... The 4xx market for 2018's and under is overpriced in the US... The twin turbo puts a Hell, scat and those Dodge products to shame...

I feel the same way. I told my wife last night that I think we should look at a Scat Pack (485HP) rather than going full bore with the Hellcat Redeye (797HP), as I think the Hellcat would be overwhelming for her. She paused for a few seconds and said, "OK, that's a good idea. We can have a supercharger installed if it's not fast enough!" This...coming from a 62 year old woman who's a nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing.

Damn...I love this girl!!

We've discussed the Aston as well and I agree that prices for the 4xx are out of control right now. By the way, the Charger is for my wife and the 4xx would be for me.

By the way, I love the color of your GT. Hmmm...I wonder why?

Sad to see you leave the Maserati world, and your contributions to the forum sharing your experiences ( heck, just on one issue alone, who knows how much money you might have saved others by warning them about the useless certified Maserati warranty 🙄🤨 offered by dealers ) .
Chime in here form time to time though, regardless of which cars you may decide to get ...

All the best JW ! (y)

I had a 2019 Aston Martin Vantage and sold it recently. Actually, I ended the lease a bit early. In any case, the depreciation, as expected, was horrible. Car literally lost 45% of its value in a year and a half.

Looking back, I should've bought the previous gen. V12 Vantage (which is surging in value right now) or a used Vanquish. Don't get me wrong, the current Vantage is nice, fast, and has an eye-catching design. However, in my opinion, it's not a "pure" Aston Martin. Half the car, including the engine, is Mercedes. I understand Aston Martin had to collaborate with Mercedes for financial reasons, but still, it has really diluted the brand.

I would not buy a F-car right now. Prices are ridiculously inflated (as is everything else). This is a seller's market and prudent thing to do is wait 'til the bubble bursts or at least shrinks a little.

In any case, good luck and happy trails, jw38!

She def sounds like a winner! (y)
Me and the GF camped out once in Glacier National. I asked if she wanted me to pitch the tent...she said, "why?"

These types of women aren't a dime a dozen. ;)

I look forward to welcome you back as Maserati owners at some point. The guys in Modena are on a creative high currently and Maserati is entering what I believe will be a fantastic period in the marque's history.

I got very lucky and was introduced to her via mutual friends. She's my 2nd wife and we've been married for 21 years. I hit the jackpot with her!

I gave the gen 1 to a friend of mine. It's in his 2012 Granturismo. I liked the idea of the DSP chip in the gen 2, along with the US capable radio.
