Is the 4.7 a clearance or interference engine? The reason I'm asking is that I took the Mas for a ride earlier today; shortly after the drive began the engine started to misfire and the check engine light came on with a periodic piercing warning sound. Then I detected a smell,maybe of a broken belt. Since I was almost home, I limped the rest of the way. Help!
