Not sure if anyone has come across this before...

on my coupe the instrument cluster (the one with all speedo, oil, water etc) does not light up anymore (i presume it's only when i turn the headlights on). Therefore when i drive at night time, i can't see how slow i'm driving. I can see all the indicator lights i.e turn signals, handbrake engaged etc.

I took it to a small indie garage that i have nearby and he reckons that all the bulbs (4 or 6 of them) have blown....would that really be the case, or is there a fuse somewhere. The owners handbook doesn't show a fuse for this, unless it's named something completely different.

Any insight as to what it might be would be appreciated.

thnx

As the cluster lights are on a shared fuse something else would have to stop working for it to be that. Not heard of all the bulbs going at once - possibly the rheostat has failed that controls the brightness?

The problem is getting the cluster out...
