One of my keys will arm alarm, disarm alarm(lock and unlock) and start car. Other key will arm alarm and disarm alarm but not start, (CODE light stays on as does OBDII engine) engine does crank. Any suggestions aside from the obvious of going to the dealer. Anyone have a step by step? I have the CODE cards for the keys.

The computer has to be coded for the alarm and trunk release. If anyone has an idea of how to do this, please let me know.

I ordered a replacement key from Maserati of Washington and when I received the key, I was told to program the lock button by seqencing the lock/unlock 16 times with the good(old) key and then to press the lock button on the new key. Unfortunately, this solution only has the lock function on the new key work for a day or so. When I consult the owner's manual, there is no mention of how to do this.

Any thoughts?
