The "Light Failure" icon (little red lightbulb) just came on on my dashboard. I looked it up in the manual but can not find any further information about how to trace it.
While this is not a major concern of mine, because all my lights seem to work, it is pretty annoying and I'd like to fix the problem thats causing it to come on.
Does anyone know how I can trace the source of problem? Can one of those simple code tracers I plug into the computer tell me what the source of the problem is? I recall reading that Spyders wern't as straightforward as most cars in terms of plug and play for tracing problems.
I've checked all of the lights on the car, which seem to be working, so I can't find the obvious cause for this light to come on. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the aftermarket HID lights I installed and perhaps a loose connection? Retraced all the wiring and everything looks ok, does anyone think aftermarket HIDs might have tripped this light on? If so how do I remove it?
Thanks in advance!
