I just recd some 19in Azev Type PS rims for my 02 Spyder. I was told the stock bolts would fit, however as is normal, they do not. I was told I need to determine the Pitch and Widht of the stock bolts in order to use the new rims. What is happening is the head of the stock bolt is too wide to fit in the new wheels, nut opennings....

thanks!

pitch and width is just the threads, you will probably have a number like m12 or 14, and fine pitched, but from my experience dealing with wheel shops, your best bet is to throw the wheel in the trunk, grab a bolt, and head over to the store and get one matched so you know it will work. make sure you account for any length differences.
I recently put some lonehardt (sp?) 20" wheels on a mercedes sl600 for a customer and the stock bolts were too long. the wheel shop had included some bolts with the wheels, but those were also too long, so a total of three trips later, I finally got what I needed.

FOUND the Pitch

Well after driving around to 3 "performance" wheel places, all of whom just laughed, Pitch?, Maserati?, I don't know......I was able to find the bolts and actually get the Pitch and Width from Jason over a CEC Wheels in Beverly Hills, (very Helpful!), in case anyone in the future needs it, the Stock Bolts are 14.5 x 28mm

If you use most any after market wheel, you will need to use "tuner bolts" which have a smaller head than the stock bolts. Tuner bolts are also nice as they have a unique shape to the head which serve as wheel locks.
