So I decide to try and install the BMC airfilter myself. Unscrewed the driver side wheel bolts, lifted the car, took the bolts off, and the wheel does not come off??? what am I missing? I've never EVER not been able to take a wheel off of a car! Is there a magic button, Am I not pulling hard enough??

Your help is greatly appreciated.

No magic button, it should come right off. It's probably rust.

i had the same problem with my mum's merc. It turns out it only needed a bit more force. Try applying force at the bottom and then at the top of the wheel. That did the trick in my case.

just bang the tyre at the top as hard as you can with your fist.. that should do it.

I lay on my side so I can get take a whack at the backside of the wheel with the back of my heel....provides a pretty good force, saves your hands, and works every time for me.... I know it's uncoventional but it works.
