Don't you have warranty remaining? Although they'll be replaced with the same cheap piece, you shouldn't have to buy anything.

Mine is broken as well. Where did you order the part from and how much is it? I need a place that sells Maserati parts such as a washer valve.

I've half a mind to find a machine shop that can make some real ones. I have ever only one of four left.

AaronE,

Thanks, just sent you a PM with pricing on those!

Anyone else who is interested, please feel free to reach out by PM, email or phone as well for pricing. The cost does vary a bit based on where the USD is at relative to Euro currencies so didn't want to post it here and have it change again in a few months. This really is true with all the factory Maserati parts even from the dealer, pricing usually changes 4x / year.

Remember also if you're in the USA and comparing to parts pricing outside the USA that our price is landed. So you don't need to pay additional costs for international shipping, duties / taxes and the currency exchange fee you would typically pay when purchasing something in another currency. Hope that helps.

As always, please feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions!

Best Regards,

It would be great if we could do a group deal and have these CNC'd from aluminium or even carbon fiber.

We've sold a few sets of the factory ones recently. We can look at a price to have a new version built from Aluminum. Just let us know how many people are seriously interested in stronger versions. The factory ones retail for about $70 / ea, we are able to offer them for less but can absolutely build these for owners if there is interest in quality Aluminum replacements which will not break. In the past we have sold some here or there but not enough to really justify a product but perhaps there are more owners that really would like a better alternative. Please reach out and let us know!

This would be a great service to all of us who've been plagued by those low quality plastic knobs. I've replaced four till now and if we had those, i'd be really relaxed, instead of always having the fear of them breaking when my friend tries to pull the seat back. I was even thinking of just wrapping the existing ones in like a strong plastic tape so they wont break.

I'm interested. as I mentioned, I was considering putting together a CAD file and finding a local machinist. it's a really simple part, so it can't be expensive...

Thanks for the input, we'll get going and see if we can get provide another option. At least with a well built part it will last and you won't have to worry about it or replace them often.

I am VERY interested. I have replaced 6 levers and I am now out of warranty.

Interested in purchasing multiple plastic levers because I know they will break. Even more interest in purchasing aluminum versions for which I would pay a generous premium to never deal with this problem again!

Please PM me.
