Preferring driving in sport mode, but getting tired of the low RPM droning of the exhaust, I put a SPST rocker switch in the lower console that allows me to switch the exhaust damper at will.

There's a small solenoid controlled vacuum valve under the car that opens/closes the line to the vacuum motor on the exhaust butterfly in the tailpipes. The lead to the solenoid comes up in the trunk behind the left side panel. The solenoid is always (+) with the (-) switched, so putting the toggle switch between the (-) wire and ground does the trick.

Now I can drive in sport with the non-sport exhaust note -- until I flip the toggle switch. Next trick is to sleeve a part of the perforations in the core of the sport part of the muffler, to make it even more free flowing. :D
