Why does he want the email address?
No idea - but anyone advertising that car for that price is up to no good. The other cars he has for sale are all far too cheap as well.

Prob wants to complete the transaction outside of ebay, get you to send the money and then there's no car.

Check out his feedback - all very suspicious...

Obvious scam. Everybody who "left feedback" for him has 3 or 2 feedbacks themselves. That's very improbable. I've seen various bogus ebay car listings and this is certainly one of them. They all have some weird twist on the email communication.

I personally wouldn't buy a car off eBay. Too risky.
I'd rather buy off an enthusiast from ebay with 100% feedback who can demonstrate that they've looked after the car (bils, history etc) than some second hand car dealer who's just bought the car in cheap and wants a profit.

Never had a problem buying a car (or selling) on ebay, but you do have to do the usual checks of course !
