Just back after looking at a Gransport and the coupe. The engine sound on the GS is superb after they press the sport switch. Really impressed with the look and finish, then went next door to look at a 996 TT which was very dull in comparision.

Will need to arrange test drives which will diminish the dilema that I have.

My 4200 GT CC and My 156 SW GTA SLSPD
TT is pretty much standard acronym when referring to porsches as the twin turbo as mentioned.

now, i know what GT and CC is for your 4200.
what is SW GTA SLSPD?

is SLSPD selespeed? why is the acronym not SS? SLSPD doesnt save too much typing.

ha....good one,

well GTA is always the sportiest version within the Alfa Romeo world (sort of AMG, or M, or RS Audi) but
compared to the german colleagues at least it has a meaning which is Gran Turismo Alleggerita....
SW means StationWagon or in alfa terms Sportswagon and
SLSPD means Selespeed, some sort of cambiocorsa ;-)

not sure why they have choosen SLSPD, SS would make sense but
refers to some freaks back 60 years........in central europe...

cheers
