Previous owner said he had tried new sensors a while ago too. Not a big deal either way, I check the pressure once in a while anyway. If it is the module I'll probably just not worry about it to be honest. Maybe put a piece of black tape over the warning light.

lol I hear you...mine still comes on cuz of a 2 psi difference...then goes away after the tires warm up...

They took the spacers out and all is good. Drove the long way home and so far so good. With the Chinese tires that were on it this thing would get pretty squirrely under hard acceleration. Now it's nice and stable.

Ride is maybe a touch better with a little more sidewall. Not as much tramlining either.

So for those who's cars are lowered with spacers. Ya can't go wider than 245 front 285 rear.

At what ride height and with or without (and what size) spacers though? The wider rear tires fit ok on my car width wise but you could barely get a finger between the tire and the outer lip of the fender in the rear. Even a small bump driving in the parking lot and they were rubbing.

So I guess anything is possible right! I shouldn't have been so definitive in my statement in the previous post. More like...with the car lowered and spacers the same as mine you can't run bigger than 245/35-20 fronts or 285-35-20 rears. (although maybe 295's would have fit but I have my doubts).

I have no desire of running a 25 series 21" rear tire. You would need to ride around, literally on a sheet of glass to keep from damaging a wheel like that.

Yep...been there, done that...
Going from my Benz 305/25/20 and 255/30/20, the GT's 35 series was a nice cushy ride change for me! I no longer cringe when I see a pothole I can't avoid...It just takes it now with the 35 series, no problem!

Well I was able to drive a bit more this weekend. I like these tires so far. The car is more stable it seems although it was halfway decent weather, not really nice yet. But it seems to not wander quite as much. Cornering is better. Ride probably isn't really much better, still turned on the dash cam with a couple more serious "bumps" in the road.

I dunno, there should be some happy medium. I'm not liking the tires being further in from the edge of the fenders without the spacers on. But if it drives and rides better I can deal with the appearance.

As for the TPMS, nothing. I held the relearn button for a long time, the icon on the dash never changed. I tried it many times and many different ways, quick push, long push...etc. So maybe my module is dead or maybe, since the tire place couldn't even get them to scan in, I got a bad batch? Seems highly unlikely that would happen. Or maybe I read the wrong post and ordered the wrong ones altogether. Who knows but not gonna worry too much about it.

Have a new center console top on the way then I'm gonna tear into that and the steering wheel to install the new stuff I have.

Well, have driven the car a couple more times and no love on the TPMS. I'll just keep checking the tires myself like I normally do for now. Supposed to be nice the next couple days here so gonna get her out again.

I do like the new tires better. Car feels more stable and more planted even with the wider stance from the spacers gone. Might look to see if smaller spacers would get them back out where they look better but it drives well so not too worried about that right now either.

Drove the car in the rain today. WAY better in the rain than the old ones. Much more stable.
