Battery Problem
The Optima Red Top top terminal group 34. Some slight mounting modification may have to be made, but no vent kit is needed. If the dealer will not replace the battery under warranty, then that is the way to go. There is always a slight draw on the battery from the CPU,alarm, etc... Coventional lead acid batteries do not like to be discharged more than a few times .I have let my car sit for a month and it has started right up. If you can have the battery tested with a computer battery tester{MD-18}for load, life, and draw,it will let you know what the problem is.
It may be cheaper to just put the Optima Battery in the car. If you let the car sit for long periods of time, a charger may be needed. The C-Tech 3000 is one of the best on the market. It will not overcharge like the Deltran"BatteryTender", and it has a mode for AGM{Advanced Glass Matt} batteries such as the Optima.Good Luck
