It's taken a while to get around to posting, but I went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed the other week (http://www.goodwood.co.uk/fos/) - a great event, where ordinary people can get right up close to some extraordinary cars.
In the 'Cartier Style et Luxe' exhibition, they had some lovely old cars - including a beautiful & super-rare 1954 Maserati A6 GCS Berlinetta and a 1957 Maserati 450S Costini-Zagato Coupe.
One of the highlights for me, though, was the Supercar run, where they run some exotic new cars up a hillclimb course... this year they had a Porsche Carrera GT, the Ford GT and for the first time in the west turning a wheel, the Maserati MC12 (driven by the new boss of Maserati himself).
The quality's not brilliant and the vantage point could have been better, but I snatched a bit of video of the MC12 in action... but here's a picture of the MC12 in the Supercar paddock.
They also had an Aston Martin DB9 there too - gorgeous - now that is one car I would not say no too ...
