So,

My brakes have gotten glazed, I suspect.

Squeek Squeek Squeek at low speeds while stopping.

Actually, it's more like SQQQQQQQQQQQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!

So, you can see my annoyance... Any way to get rid of this?

Thanks!

New pads, maybe?

Key is to have a look at the rotors...

Removing the Glaze

Glazed rotors and pads can be fixed...

Bead blast your rotors, I suggest 100-120 grit Aluminum Oxide to get a nice fresh surface, just don't over-do it and pit your rotors

Another good, cheap option for rotors are the 3M Maroon Roloc Discs 3" at the end of a drill or air tool.

For removing glaze on pads, just use a bit of sandpaper laid flat on the ground and then rub your pads against it to knock the glazing off.

Of course our pads help a bit too, squeek less than stock pads.

What should I look for on hte rotors?
Answer given by the FD guys above. Can be fixed, just go somewhere that knows what they are doing.
