Hi I’m just enquiring about the blower motor in the 95 Ghibli II Auto. Is it much of a job to have it replaced if it’s not working? Does the dash need to come out?

has anybody done this and if so do you know of an online guide?

Dash needs to come out, it's a pain in the ass.

Not aware of any online guides, but the motor comes from a BMW of the era (E34 probably but not 100% sure).

it’s a Bosch BMW unit as you said for the earlier Biturbo I guess the Ghibli has the same one.

Somebody in Japan has done a full write up looks like a real pain in the ass !

The part numbers between the Ghibli one and the 222 one are the same, so yes I think you got the correct one.

It's Maserati 315520167 for reference.

There's no way I'm going to do that myself, how many hours do you think that would be in a shop? 6-8?

I did it once on a 1996 Ghibli. You will feel kind of good when you have done it. Like being a master tech. 5 houres
