Just wondering what you guys think in regards to future repair costs, say 5 years down the road. Do you think the cost of repairs/parts will decrease (higher production # of replacement parts), increase, or remain the same?

Those of you who own Ferrari's for example, do you see the costs of repair for an older model decrease?

I ask, as I am about to purchase an extended warranty on my Spyder, and can go as far out as 10 years.

These cars are expensive to maintain but I gurantee you will see aftermarket solutions for the really overpriced items.

I.E. nobody is going to pay $18k for a pump ,an aftermarket company replicate something exact or even better for $900-1,000 that won't fail. These cars are expensive to maintain outside of warranty but not worth the $2,495.00 a year unless the company you're getting it from has a great reputation.
