Front end alignment specs.

At 32k miles I am on my 3rd set of front tires for my 2014 Gran Turismo S. I have had a couple of alignments one indy shop , one dealer to factory spec, but the inner fronts still seem to wear out at about 15k miles. I'm guessing that a tad less negative camber might solve this issue without affecting handling too much.

Has any one out there found alignment specs for the front that keep the car from eating front tires? If so could you please share them with me

Thanks,
MIchael

This is what the manual ignores...manual is pretty poor on the Maserati. My Lotus has ALL of this info! We will max out the front and set rear accordingly to keep balance.
Not threaded but these work pretty good.

I was actually going to cut off the nipple and install threads into the puck. Couldn't bring myself to cut off a perfectly good nipple. 😝

I drove it home and put it away for winter, but yes, felt MUCH better. To get those values on one side was maxed inwards and the other side was maxed outwards.....

I had my 2018GT aligned at the dealer yesterday. I mentioned that I wanted the front toe to be +0.06 each & was advised would require additional adjustments. Car is still under warranty. Also had them do Road Force wheel balancing. What does it mean if the car won't align within the factory specs? Here's the printout:

Good morning everyone,

can you please confirm that the alignment specs for the GT should follow the bottom of the picture listed below.

thank you in advance,

Here’s the before and after. A&A Tire is a big shop, 5 Hunter Alinement racks. Maseratis are rare, so the lead guy did it and let me watch (bought him a few beers) on their new rack. The Mas was in the computer so it went well. See pics. The only change from factory was to go from -0.06deg to +0.06deg toe. That was the consensus recommendation from the last major thread on the subject. Car handles much better, no more wandering.

15k on the fronts is not terrible on these cars. But try, at the very least, a neutral setting (0.0) for the front toe...a degree or two positive is also good. (y)
Yes I agree with neutral. I had mine set to 0* and minimal tire wear with little difference in handling.

Thank you for posting this, I hope these settings work for me as well as they work for you. Also great mileage on the car, at least the rest of us can know what the car is capable of.

You're very welcome. (y)
I'm personally looking to get at least another 100-120k. 💪

You're definitely getting a great rate. And I want no parts of trying to dispose of old tires, in the city, lol.
I removed and brought my 2 rears in, supplied my own tires, and was charged $60 USD to mount and balance. Thought it was a little high for a 35 series tire. That's what they used to charge for my MBZ 25 series tires. They charge more, the lower the profile is...guess their rates went up...
Mounting tires pretty much sucks so God bless the people that want to fool with it..The lower the profile or run flats cost more...About$25-30 per tire is about right...$85-100 in California. ;). Jason
