I have a Sport GT-S with 20'' factory wheels. With so many potholes on the road, I constantly get flat tires whenever I hit potholes. I am thinking about going to 19'' wheels hoping that the sidewall on the 19'' tires will weather the potholes a bit more.

Has anyone done this? Would 19'' factory wheels fit and clear calipers? There don't seem to be a lot of other options out there.

That actually seems to be a consideration for folks who need to swap in snow tires...changing wheels and all.

Hi James,

18 and 19" are possible, the only question is if the larger Brembo brakes of the GTS don't touch the wheels/rims.
I have a 2008 Sport GT S pre facelift (4.2 liter) with the larger brakes, and can say that the factory 18" and these OZ Superturismo 19" match.
Dimension of tires for the 19" are 285/35 ZR 19 and 245/40 ZR19 . For comparison the factory 20".
