I wish I had better pics. My camera went Ford Explorer on me. Here are a few pics from my phone on front FD springs install.
Removing the engine covers first. Then get to the upper mounts is tough:
Then the old springs on their way out.
But don't forget to unhook the Skyhook!
New one in!
I'll let HRA put the complete pics up. It looks great and you van feel the engineering put into making these springs. WTG Formula Dynamics.

YSR,

Thanks for the write-up, looks like you've got it handled and he'll be flying through the corners in no time!

That's my baby, she drives like on rails now, YSRJunkie did the install on the fronts and I did the rears. All I can say is wow compared to previously lowered with OEM springs. all the body roll is gone and no more bounciness. YSRJunkie is the Man,very professional guy in Houston and very friendly, my car will be going to him for any maintenance and mod work. Special thanks to Jeff @ Formula Dynamics ( Whatever I say is not enough, great guy and amazing products as usual) and to YSRJunkie @ Autodynamica for the great work (very clean, professional and treats clients cars like his own). I will post more pics soon.

How long did it take? I am guessing after springs are installed an alignment is a must?

The rears took me about 3hrs to do but I didn't have to take the shocks out (following Jeff's directions) and the fronts YSRJunkie did the install in about 4hrs including the upper arm ball joint replacement ( shocks were out of the car). Alignment is necessary and I will do once I get the new wheels.

It took about 4 hours. The bolts for the top mounts are a but difficult. If you remove the 2 nuts for the upper ball joint to control arm, it makes it much easier. Just make sure you do one side at a time so you can reference the other side to see how the bracket faces. The shims that are there are essential and a requirement for the alignment. Next time I do an install I will be sure to get better pics. I finally got to experience the Formula Dynamics drive by wire system and am impressed with the quality and performance. It makes the shifts fantastic.

I'm jealous!

I can only dream about lowering my QP. Unfortunately it is skyhook with non adjustable perches :hissyfit:

Does adding spacers increase the handling ability? Will it make it better handling/feeling on the wheel in the corners and at speed?
Improving looks aside, I've heard that spacers will improve turn-in slightly due to the wider track of the car.
