New to the Maserati world just purchased my first one. 2015 GT when it starts cold the exhaust makes a weird noise and as the car warms up it goes away almost like something is rattling inside

That is the air injection system..Totally normal....Part of the emissions...The exhaust gets raspy for a minute or so on a cold start..Jason

To add to it, if yours is the same as mine, when you put it in Sport the exhaust valves open a little at idle so it’s louder, and if you put it in Sport then shift over the manual mode, it opens the exhaust valves completely and is nice and loud.

great cars. Had my 2013 for almost three years no issues. Tim’s had his over 100k no problems.

just so you know, the day will come when the car throws all the dash lights at you and tells you to go to the dealership. Don’t. It just means your battery is low and needs replaced. And almost any light you might get really just means time for a new battery. Find a good independent mechanic too.

Yea I’m going to start looking but a friend of mine has his own shop too and specializes in lots of high end bmw Porsche Mercedes he said it shouldn’t be a problem to work on but still looking for a back up lmao

oh yeah they are way easy. My mechanic is actually a Honda tech and he has zero issues working on it.

I use a local shop - not even close to what people would call "high end car".....has been able to do normal annual maint. with no issues.
