Have any USA members of this forum taken delivery of their cars from the factory in Modena? Do US dealers support such a thing, and is there a reduction in the price since you would be importing a "used car"? The other essential point would be if there are ports equipped by Maserati to take delivery of the car and then ship it. I know BMW, Mercedes and Porsche do this, and one receives a 10% reduction in the price - which just about covers the cost of the trip. I can't imagine anything better than taking delivery of a new Maserati in Italy and being able to tour for a week or two - assuming the car doesn't get stolen while sitting in front of some quaint villa hotel.
