Check out the door harness. Try lightly pulling on the harness and pulling the connector to the A-pillar see if you can make the window go up/down. When I disconnected the harness from the A-pillar, I remembered I also got the Air Bag Warning Light (and my dealer had to reset it). But I don't see how this can be effected by your parking brake.
