My windows on my 02 spyder are going nuts at the moment!

Every now and again when i pull up and apply the handbreak the windows automatically go down and the only way to get them back up is to use the roof switch to put the roof down which then makes the windows go back up!

The whole think is daft and I look stupid constantly putting the roof up and down sometimes even in wet weather

Any ideas?

Also airbag warning lights is constantly on the dash, needs a new airbag switch yet only had this done a couple months ago!

Windscreen seal has come loose and water is seeping through.

Fabric around rear window keeps popping out the seal which allows water to come through the zipper.

And thats it for now.

Any ideas?

The dealer has had a look at it and cant find anything wrong and because its an intermittent problem I can't prove otherwise!

However they did find that the Mirror seal and steering rack rubber boot both need replacing to the cost of £324!!! ( what for a couple of rubber bits? but oh yes Mr Topp there is of course labour at £97 per hour + VAT!!!) Tossers

On top of all that they say there is water seeping through the seal on the windscreen and I need a whole new windcreen put in as they cant repair the seal! and of course according to the dealer this £2k job is not covered under my trident warranty!

Then the airbag warning lights come on when I hit a pothole in the road and the potholes are causing the roof to pop open and warning light to flash so I have to stop, put down and then up the hood....

I'm sick and tired of this car I think I may just replace it with a boring but relaible and comfortable lexus LS430

Finally found the problem it is due to the roof latches keep coming loose after driving over potholes causing the windows to wind down when I put on the handbreak as the car thinks the roof is going down hence why I have to open and close the roof for the windows to go back up.

The problems had gotten worse over the last few weeks the roof now actually pops open after drivng over a few bumps or potholes and I have to pull over and put it down and then back up - not fun in the rain..

Car booked in for this wednesday.
