ECU Tune Granturismo Anybody?

In the interest of full disclosure, I own the company so this is generic advice and experience with tuning.

My 2009 GTS has a full Stage 2 Performance Tune but I will tell you that you are not going to get mind blowing results although I am very happy with it. Yes, I have more power but it's not going to turn your V8 Naturally Aspirated engine into a beast like you can do with a forced induction V8 like a Mercedes 550 which can add 130+ HP & 250+Lbs-FT of Torque. That said, I do love how we remapped the non sport mode. It's much more responsive but not to the point of just changing it to a lower version of sport. I recently took a trip to see my kid in college and with mostly highway driving at 80MPH with cruise on in non-sport mode. I averaged just over 32MPG which I thought was great. I haven't had the chance to take it to the dyno yet but plan on doing it fairly soon. I'll be happy to share the results when I get it done. Cheers.

What company do you own and do you due tuning for your customers? I have a 2013 non-sport and would be interested to know what type of remapping you did to make it more responsive. Enquiring minds want to know!
Hi JW, I'd rather not get into that now. I was initially commenting on ECU Tunes in general being just fine for these cars and nothing to worry about. I've been a member here since 2012 as an owner and enthusiast and I bought into this tuning company 3 years ago doing mainly high end euro's so I don't think it's wise at this point to go pushing a tune. When the time is right, I will probably create a company account and also advertise on here but until then, please just take my comments in the context of a general discussion. I hope you understand. Cheers.
