This year I have not been doing too many miles in the car and I have decided it is not good enough...
So I now have plans to drive my UK-spec cambiocorsa across Europe to Italy (where I have booked a factory visit followed immediately by the Maserati GT driving course, well why not?)
All being well I will drive it back again!

Question for you guys - do the xenon headlights require adjustment for driving on the "wrong" side of the road (so to speak)? If so what is involved?

Oh and any other advice/comments on the trip welcomed!

What date are you planning on going?

We are planning a Family trip to Parma for the end of September to do the Weekend driver course.

Taking the QP for its first thrash across Europe, with a stop at the Nurburgring.

I did the trip in Sept last year. We went through France and stopped in the Champagne region, Alsace region then into Italy to Como and Garda and on to Modena. We had a great time and the factory tour was fab. If you go to Garda I strongly recommend the Hotel Marconi in Sirmione. A truly unique and beautiful place. If you are interested I can email you our itinerary.

Dont worry about the lights - they dont adjust and never caused us a problem.

Thanks for replies so far.

JohnH - course is running Sept 28/29 (factory tour on 27th)
Like the Nurburgring idea, I will look into that option.

SurfNirvana - would appreciate seeing your itinerary, I already have a stop at Sirmione planned but am keen to hear other stopover ideas.

Here is the plan we used last year. We had a great trip and did a lot in a week! We used the TomTom sat nav on an HP Ipaq with the European maps - this made the drive a doddle and was loads better than the in car nav system as it took us to the door of each place.
