now that we are hearing the upcoming coupe/spyder will not be just a shortened QP, perhaps we can speculate what the designers will be doing.

Jason Castriota of Pininfarina is credited for a few designs:
Maserati Birdcage 75th concept http://www.autodesignmagazine.com/articoli/es/152/pininfarina.htm
Ferrari 599 GTB
Ferrari 612 P/4 one-off

http://test.windingroad.com/features-page/designing-a-ferrari/

wonder what exactly he has in mind...
i like a cross between the A6GCS pininfarina, Birdcage 75th, and QP. ;)

like your way of thinking M! Let's see if they also keep linked as much as possible to Ferrari even if they are now officially closer to Alfa. I would hate to see a Alfa sourced/co-produced motor in the new Maserati's.....and I would love to see +/-500hp sourced Ferrari motor and a Magnettino if possible ;-).....styling I am not too afraid it's going to be a beautifull car!

Interesting that the new Alfa 8C competicione that has been rumored to return to the US is said to get the Maserati engine...
is the 8C designed by Jason Castriota or even Pininfarina?
please keep on topic.

I'm curious to see what Pininfarina will do with the car. In the past I've liked Pininfarina more than Giugiaro, but I feel Giugiaro hit the nail on the head with the 4200. Pininfarina has never let me down however, very anxious to see how it will end up.
