A CC clutch is probably not for the timid, but if you have done major work on a modern car it might come down to the only diffiiculty being specialized tools and computers (specific to the marque). The F1 pump alone is several grand, and upon seeing the cars being assembled in Modena...there are a LOT of hydraulic lines. The complexity spooked me so much that I got a 6 speed. Best I can recollect from posts and talking to mechanics....Clutch life on the cc seems to range from 10K to 25K, and about twice as long for the 6 speed, although there is very little data on the latter.
Price for the 02 Spider should be between 40 and $50K US.
