i heard someone say he was quoted a price of $12k, is this really possible?

the owner of the car i am buying said something about the need to worry about the variator can be minimized by some sort of maintenance, lubrication, whatever, periodically on it. is this so and if so what exactly can be done?

jason, i agree that one should ask, but it seems to me that maserati would have issued some service notice as to the need for the updated part, and if so and there was a subsuquent failure after repair and it was discovered that the available updated part was not used in the initial repair that use of the outdated part would have constituted negligence and the part of the dealer who should then eat the cost of the second repair.

hows that for a compound complex sentence?
