Well brought in my car to have the clutch replaced since it was at 85% and seemed to be slipping. There was also some howling getting going from a start.

Dealer replaced the clutch but once they put it back to together, it still had lazy clutch disengagement. So they checked the throwout bearing and bled the system again. No luck.

Got a call today and they believe it is the F1 gearbox controller. They swapped one in from another car and it ran perfect.

So it seems I am now going to have to get the F1 computer replaced for the tune of $1800... plus the $3000+ clutch job :-(

I see you car is a 2004 CC Coupe, here in Dominican Republic we get 5 years in our warranties so maybe you should look and see if your warranty still active.

Good luck, I know what that feels like, I had my share of expensive repairs with a 2001 BMW X5 with no warranty.

I wish... no warranty left.
I knew when I bought the car a clutch replacement was in my near future. But the F1 computer was a surprise.
