climate control packed in , gas in aircon no problems ......does give some heat but thats about it........was quoted 3000 pounds to solve problem........does this sound right?

Welcome to the site. I'm a little confused about your post. Does it not work at all? No heat? aircon? both? 3000 pounds seems high however I don't know the going rate in the UK for such work. Did the service shop give you any idea as to what that 3000 included? What parts are being replaced?

thanks for the speedy reply.
the control panel on dash all seems to function fine , as do the fans however the is no cold air and the hot settings only produce a warm airflow.
i was told by Dick Lovett Maserati that the control panel its self needed replacing and this was where most of the expence was..around 2500 pounds!
i know a second opinion is the next logical step ,just thought i would post this and gather some feedback as it struck me as being v. expensive.
