Hi guys,
Just a quick tip if anyone is having issues with failing gas bonnet struts as I did. I picked a pair up on ebay for £17. I simply measured the originals and bought universal replacements. I bought 350mm length with 10mm ball sockets and the fitted straight on and work a treat at a fraction of main dealer prices. Only thing I would say is originals are 350nm and I bought 600nm which are a bit powerful, I got round this by only replacing the weakest original strut therefore leaving one old and one new. It works a treat with no noticeable stress to the hinge.

We have previously made replacements hood struts as well that are less expensive than factory, they are the same spec (load rating) as factory, we had them built as a batch order a while back and we have since sold out. I'm sure we could put another order together if customers were interested. Honestly, we're pretty busy right now with our Holiday Sale but once things get back to normal, we'd be happy to help if owners need them.

Best Regards,
