I know this is a small issue but help me understand the logic...

I have a new GranTurismo.... I really like the car......however,

What would possess Maserati to line all 4 wheel wells with carpet like material? Shouldn't this be just the opposite some very smooth non stick surface...

I am forever cleaning this as leaves, dirt, and other grim accumulates here....

anybody else notice this ?

thx

I always thought it was 'cool' but I only drive my car when there is no chance of precipitation. Even so, dry stuff like leaves do stick now and then. I think it's an attempt to look more 'finished' or elegant.

She's an Italian model and she doesn't shave her underarms. Embrace the cultural difference. It is another little quirk that reminds one this isn't another german, japanese, american car.

Brian - that is the best! I love the supermodel underarm peach fuzz analogy. :D

hmmmmmm interesting

never thought about sound reduction... (keeps small stones from making noise, I guess)

I still think a smoother material would have been better...... oh... such big problems on this earth.... ha

thanks boys,
