Car values collapsed

Its a 20yr old Maserati with limited parts availability, let alone limited people knowing how to work on them. There, I said it! The younger generation is full of smart phone educated pussies that can't even change a tire, drive a manual, check their oil etc. God forbid they get their hands dirty.
Also, high interest rates are huge killer for those aspiring to own a luxury car, even a used luxury car. Good year to hang on and wait for interst rates to fall, probably by end of year.
Perhaps a little harsh on the young folk :) Though I'm not young almost everything I know about car maintenance was gleaned from youtube - a lot of it on my smartphone.

The changing attitude is likely from YouTube and social media. Doug Demuro famously roasted the QP5, then the Ghibli, then the Levante. Hoovie buys the nastiest auction cars and then does a video with the car wizard "HOW much to fix my BROKEN Maserati?!?" Then all the me-too videos come along for Internet likes. There's loads of videos on YouTube about how terrible Maseratis are, how unreliable they are, how ugly the interiors are, how much they depreciate. You can't talk about a Maserati online without people going out of their way to remind you what a mistake you made buying one, how an Alfa is better, how it's just a Dodge Dart / Challenger / Charger / Grand Caravan / Grand Cherokee with a fancy badge. The Internet only likes Porsches, M cars, and Lexus LC.
Yes there are A LOT of videos about old Maseratis being broken and expensive to fix - it must be generating lots of clicks. I'm owner #1 for my Coupe so I don't worry about valuation too much at this point 😎🤯😂.

At first I was hesitant, now I just enjoy the car and the shits, II'm more worried about why the front end comes up so much on acceleration now than I am about the F1. and of course I revel in the sound, the sweet sweet sound !
I've done lots of autocross in my Coupe and the stock suspension allows a fair amount of travel (even new). I fitted the formula dynamics springs and they made a huuuuge difference.
