No personal experience but have heard good things about CoverKing as well. I am considering replacing my current one with their Stain Stretch in red (of course).

Cool, thanks. Does it come in my favorite color, LEMON? (only joking)

Michael, I would have assumed you would just ship your baby when you travel. Ship her to England and Back, then you would not need a car cover....Duh !

Any cover will scratch if the paint is not extremely clean when it is installed. If you are planning on keeping the car at the house, why not get a high quality temporary carport. I know the neighbors may object at the idea, but really, when they do renovations, what will they do with their cars? If all else fails, and you don't plan on driving it, look into these.....I have seen them in use at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, and I believe they make an outdoor model too.

CarCapsule: The Ultimate Car Cover

I do use a cover on my wife's BMW when it is put away for the winter, and I have had good luck with Covercraft and Noah, but like I said, I would never put a cover on a car that I didn't just get done thoroughly cleaning.

I use a Carcoon which is the same as the car capsule. I keep a 1973 BMW2002 in it indoors which as the car is a notorious rust trap has proved a huge success with no rust accruing.

They also do an outdoor version. This would need a power source for the fans and a trickle charger. Because of this and the fact that it takes time to fit over the car it would only appear practical for longer term storage.

Actually Michael is probably doing her a favor.
Having a ten car garage with only seven cars in it can be embarrassing.

When I have had a few cars to many, I specialise in chatting up old widows who no longer drive but have a garage. I often had to clear out the garage first but for a modest rental I usually got a suprevised garage.
The trouble is they tend to be short term tenancies!
