Hello guys,
Im new to this forum, and just got myself a MY03, 2004 maserati Coupe GT4200 cambiocorsa around 6 months ago, with 27,000kms on the odo (yes, this is a right hand drive, and Im living in Indonesia).

So one problem at a time. The one thing that happens while I drive this car, is that the cambiocorsa failure light sometimes comes up, and when that happens, I went to auto mode, but it still shift normally like the usual auto mode, and I tested it before that it can still run smooth over 120km/h or 70 miles per hour, BUT CAN'T shift to Reverse or neutral.

I have a small autel scanner, and when I plugged it in, it shows p1745 dtc code.
The funny thing is when I reset it using autel, or wait a few moments, the lights are off, and I can switch the gears normally. It doesnt happen too often before, but this past months it happens quite often.

Reading a few of topics in this forum, I know that the f1 pump is working just fine, as it is still doing the sound when I open the door.

Does anyone have any ideas of whats happening? And what I should do?

Tried to go to the only maserati in here and they suspect there is some problems with CAN interface, that is why the light is on and off, and when its off, I can still awitch gears manually.

Really need good advice for my problems.
Thanks.

Congrats on the Coupe GT and welcome to the forum. Those scan tools can help a bit but they're not really a full feature tool, be careful some customers have caused more trouble than harm with them on the F1 systems as they often don't support all the correct functions for each version of the F1 software.

P1745 can sometimes be a sticking paddle shifter switch. Try to make sure the paddles are not sticking or staying held up. If the microswitch is failing it may be your issue. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.
P1745 codes appeared like the screen shot below everytime the cambiocorsa failure light comes on.

The only maserati dealer in here told me they suspect the CAN DIGITEK might be the problem, because its not happening permanently and comes on and off.

But the article in here :

Says that it might have to do with solenoid on transmission, but when the dealer try to scan it, they didnt find any fault codes in regards to the solenoid needing replacement or repair.

Quite frustrated because at times it happened when I wanted to park the car, I couldnt reverse at all because the gear cant shift into R or N.

Any other comments that might help me on this matter, anyone?

It could be many issues but this codes means that the ECU is getting a signal that the Up shift switch is being held.

If it happens again, try flapping the paddles to see if it clears. You may need a new microswitch or it could be wiring getting grounded, could be an ECU issue, etc...
