According to the Owners manual, when the Clutch gets hot during Stop and go driving, the CC system will give off a "beep" when in 1st gear.

What I have noticed which is worrying me, is that, this beep does not occur right after a clutch is replaced. I have done the same type of driving, right after a clutch replacement, at 5000 miles post replacement, and during the time when my clutch was almost worn, and the Beep never occurs when the clutch is new and not worn.

I took the car out last night to do some errands, and while spending perhaps 5 mins looking for parking, the CC began to Beep. I only have 5k on the clutch, I am worried that my clutch is getting to the worn/replacement stage.

anythoughts?

Hello,

the beeping has something to do with the shift adjustement of the clutch. My CC beeped very quickly after a little stop and go and even totally shut down the engine a few times. The dealer made the clutch shifting faster by readjusting a potentiometer (?), since then no problems any more.
So probably your new clutch is adjusted differently.
