Well, it's only been about 5 weeks since I got the car and it is going into the shop for a second time. This time the cambio didn't release when I came to a stop, just like if you left a manual in first and stepped on the brake. Jerked forward and then stalled. On startup there there was a loud whining from the trans. but the car worked ok, within a block the noise went away. Could it be the TO bearing? - Any thoughts.

My car (05 CC) has stalled once too, coming up to a stop.

I think Maserati should have a  icon on the dash for when the Cambiocorsa messes up.

Mine also flashed the red gearbox warning light the other day briefly, I put it in neutral and had to roll back for a few feet. Dunno why, it has been fine since.

The car has been in the shop for the last week. At least at this point they believe that the stalling and not disengaging from 1st is a software problem and they are adjusting it. I'll see what happens when I get it back.
