Hello Gentlemen

My BMC airfilter arrived on Thursday the 4th , sent from Italy on July 28th, my shop got it in today. Installation took about 20 minutes and having the car on the lift was helpful but not nessesary. You could turn the left wheel way over and access the panel in front of it. You have to remove 2 plastic panels to get entry to the airfilter. The BMC is sligtly narrower than the stock one which looked like a MANN from Germany.The filter is a cylindrical filter, not rectangular which i had thought.

Impressions...i am very skeptical about "performance" tweaks, but i honestly feel the car now has better throtle response...however my car does have "good and bad days", tonight my drive she could have been having a good day. There is a slight noise, like a snorkle I can hear from the filter area (perhaps sucking in more air??)

I will report more, but all in all , a pretty painless worthwhile $108.

I wish we had some real dyno results from BMC.
Any changes in fuel consumption and low end torque?

Spent an entire weekend with the BMC air-filter doing some spirited highway driving and lots of agressive city trips...

What can I say, I love this filter. ...I am very skeptical and cynical, and honestly wouldn't mind admitting that I'd drop $130 for this filter just for the placebo affect, BUT, honestly this filter has made a very noticable difference in my Spider. Off the line the car accelerates quicker and smoother, throttle lag is lessened, the car just seems to operate smoother.

I had changed the stock filter during my 18,000 mile service so when I pulled it out at 19, 800 the shop and I noted that it was still clean, so we are not talking about a dirty clogged stock filter vs a Clean new BMC.

Im not sure if you guys know, but BMC filters are designed for and used in Formula 1 race cars and I think many folks who own Ferraris have had great results with BMC>

I recommend to all interested giving a BMC a shot, you will be pleasantly surprised.
