After installing my ECM and DBW successfully I thought, "why not try to install the BMC air filter?" So I went for it. You know what? VERY EASY! It took me less than 30 min, and I'm not a DIY guy. Honestly, anybody can do it.

Should I try installing the springs?

Just kidding!:D

Carmine, don't worry, it's "piece of cake". When you buy the filter from FD it comes with instructions with pictures.

It's something that everybody should do instead of paying for it.

Niteroi 30 mins install ? WTF Does a fast colour car means you are a fast mechanic also? Man I'm getting old!
To be honest, I think I got lucky, the 4 screws on the air filter box came right off and the nuts on the back stayed in place all the time.:)

No you didn't get lucky, the nuts have a retainer clip to hold them in place.
I know, but it seems like they get loose with most people, making it harder to remove the screws and put them back later.
