An "opportunity" has arisen to buy a low mileage 90 Biturbo.

I thought, what a unique magical car I could have...

...and then I thought, Am I crazy?

Are these cars meant to be driven every day? Or are they meant to be driven on sunny Saturdays only to the country club and back.

Thoughts and advice welcome.

Hi James,

the Italian Maserati forum I peruse has loads of Biturbo owners and many of them use their cars as daily drivers. They do need a lot of TLC, that's a fact. Member on their has a biturbo with 300k km on the clock.

I used to run an Italian spec Biturbo Si (2 liter V6, 225 HP, twin intercoolers) as a daily driver when I was a student. While it was by no means perfect, it was nonetheless very reliable. It never let me down once. However it was very expensive to keep and needed lots of TLC and awareness about all the little things that you take for granted in a modern car.
