I spoke to a custom A/V installer yesterday about installing cameras front and back, and he was quick to point out the availability of the cameras for the Maserati GT, front and back. Further, he pointed out that the front camera could display when the parking sensors activated. However, he said the prices he saw for the the front and rear video interfaces were several hundred dollars. I read on another thread here that the video interface units were supposedly exactly the same, with one costing approximately $900 and another for $400. Can someone confirm this, as well as provide a web site to order these? Also for the cameras themselves, any recommendations on which ones to buy, and placement on the front and back?

i don't recommend replacing the actual radio/screen. it is heavily tied into the instrument panel and body computer.

i had a 139 QP in recently, all kinds of electrical issues. dash lit up like a christmas tree. after market double din radio. nothing to do about it, from a dealership standpoint.

that said, i've had a few GTs with cameras installed and they work great. the front especially, for saving the lip from parking blocks and curb parking.
I do not plan to replace the head unit. I'm looking for consensus on the A/V interface to use for front and rear cameras, as well as recommended cameras.
