Alright all you Maserati heads, I got a challenge for you!

I'm looking to improve this exhaust without spending a fortune yet (Straight pipe cheap method etc).
Looking for that Larini sound or somewhat close.

Here is how it currently sounds; only has the secondary cat deleted (I think he was revving it in normal not sport mode)

Also I've attached an image of underneath of the car for a better look of the exhaust system

Looks great underneath,
I’d Keep an eye out for used quality parts, but definite loose the central resonator with a straight through X pipe or H.
I picked this used Bertocchi pipe with sports cats a few year ago, sounds great

Do you have a video of how your car sounds like now? I’m quite to hear 👂🏼

Watch this video, it explains everything very well:

Oh yup, ive seen those two vids before. But even in those videos theyre using larini or another brand. I just want something that will improve what currently is on the car without spending a fortune for now. Its got the second decat deleted....whats the next step? Like replacing the central resonator with X-pipe that will be made by some exhaust business or buy the x-pipe online branded.

Or will removing the muffles be the next step? But then again that sports mode makes it pretty much straight pipe when it opens the valves hey

I'm still trying to figure out why this is posted in the Maserati market life market? Is this site difficult to understand? Jason

That's my car, the sound comes from the Euro 3 Headers and a custom centre section. The OEM mufflers are far more sociable and you won't be disappointed running those, I'm just very pedantic. You want something like what @GP79 has with a long common section replacing the X-pipe to get a sound similar to what I've got. Where are you located - shipping within Australia is pretty reasonable. I may be able to source one more set of headers at a reasonable price and get a centre section made up for you. The last set of headers I can get cheaply is about $1600, and then it would be somewhere around $1500 to get another centre section and cat made up.

EDIT

Just looked at the picture and realised you've got the euro 3 headers already. Just get a centre section made up like what I did (I've just sold the one in the video). Keep the OEM mufflers, and if that isn't enough then worry about changing the mufflers. The Larini mufflers aren't the full flavour, they're more like the zest.

You could get a cat and cross pipe made up for less than half the Larini bits, I would only do the headers if I were going down that route.

I looked at purchasing an aftermarket low cell cat and grafting into the system , thus replacing the OEM cats
I could get no verification from web sources that they would not throw a code - So i simply bought a tried and proven Larini system and be done with it

It sold last week - $2800. I'm still yet the Larini X-pipe for $500 + shipping on ebay, if anyone is interested.
