Well...
Just replaced my battery here in my CC.
By the way... if you don't already know... opening the trunk with a key only is about the craziest thing.
Anyway... in the "...I did not know that... catagory..."
Your battery has to be a vented battery. That means that there needs to be a vent tube on it and you have to attach it.
Basically... most batteries are under the hood, but the CC has it's battery in the trunk.
So evidently there are some gas that gets emitted that you have to vent out.
Other than that...
And if anyone knows...
I replaced it with an INTERSTATE battery.
The VENT is in the front of the battery (as opposed to the Mas battery that has it's vent on the side.
Because of the vent in the front... I couldn't secure the battery with the HOLDER THINGY.
So I just put the screw in to hold the battery in place.
I'm sattisfied with it. And you will probably only know what I mean if you had to deal with it too.
Anyway... that's all... just some thoughts...
