It is not dying suddenly, you will notice less power range. Plus you have a second remote. But it is safe to put an extra battery inside the car…

Hello....I just recently had the keyless remote installed as well. I'm wondering if you see the same couple annoying issues, or if it's something with my install. 1) the passenger door doesn't seem to unlock with the remote. it will lock, but not unlock. The driver door is just fine. 2) the "extract you key" chime comes on both when opening the door to get in or get out of the car now...and stays on until you actually close the door. Its very annoying. is there a way to cut that feature off?

Does anyone know how to turn the keyless entry on/off using the remote? My nephew was playing with my FOB and now my keyless entry no longer works when it had been for over a year. It had to be something he did when pressing certain buttons, just cannot figure out what. Otherwise, anyone know how to reset the system using the reset button? I tried but pressing it or holding down didn't seem to do anything.

Did either of you ever resolve the constant beeping when driver's door open issue? I have always had the same problem and just assumed that was the way it was with the chip taped to the theft ring. I had tested when installing the system and leaving the key in the ignition did the same thing. Can anyone confirm that it doesnt always beep for them after installing this system?

I couldnt get any help from china or here, but if anyone else runs into a similar issue, I ended up just unplugging the brain unit from its power for 24 hours then plugged it back in and now it is working correctly again. I tried for half a day at first and that was not long enough. The reset button doesnt seem to do anything, pressing it, holding it for 10, 30, 60 seconds... did nothing. It was so frustrating, so hopefully this helps anyone else in a similar situation. Maybe someone can figure out how to use the FOB to enable and disable this one day

Hello, I install and sell these here in the US, There is no reset button, the button on the box is only for reprogramming or adding key fobs. To disable/enable the passive keyless entry, when you walk up or away from the car it unlocks and unlocks press the lock and start button at the same time for 3 seconds, it will beep,
There is no way to disable the "beeping" mine will beep for about 10 seconds and stop or until I close the door.
