Nokia ? Samsung ? Sony ? .. not everything is made in China ..though “most“ of everything else seems to be nowadays ..
I have B&O, McIntosh, and Nakamichi stereo equipment in the house , the main TV is B&0 ( the other ones are Sony, Samsung, and Pioneer ), all of our kitchen and other household appliances are either German, French, Italian, or American ( US ) .. so there is a way to avoid Chinese products, if you really try ( and willing to spend a lot more for them ..) but I do have an iPhone and an IPad , so I have not escaped entirely ..:sneaky:

I do believe China does make some high end products, but the cheaper the gizmos are, the crappier , IMO.
China will make it as good or bad as you want. You tell them your budget, how much profit margin you want, and what you acceptable defect rate is and tada you got a manufacturer. They’ll make you a flawless iPad, or, baby food with poison in it. Whatever you want to pay for.

Got a respect a man with McIntosh and Nakamichi - well done. In my yonder days I lusted after the Nakamichi Dragon but ended up with a Denon DAT. The good old days - when tape decks were cool.

Too lazy to turn a key? You guys really buy all kinds of crap from the Chinese...
That is true, but its like anything else. There is some decent stuff that is made in China like an iPhone for example and there is pure junk most of it held with a double sided 3M tape. It is sort of like you have Swatch and then you have Patek - but cool people in the know will still go and get A Lange and Söhne...(y)

As long s it’s not 8-track, other tape decks are still cool. Reel to reel systems will always be cool, and for the ultimate cool factor you simply can’t a beat top end turntable ..put some Japanese-printed vinyl LPs on those and you‘ll hear sounds which can never be replicated by a digital device in a million years ..
LOL, don’t even get me started on time pieces, I’ve had a love affair with those since I was a kid, and spent way too much money indulging in that obsession.

Thank you for your reply.
I installed it by referring to the pdf manual and YouTube. By the way, the ground is taken from the ground of the fuse box as per the manual. Currently, the problem is that the lock does not work at all when approaching and when moving away, and the car automatically unlocks once or twice every 10 times when the engine starts. Lock / unlock / trunk open / engine start works fine with the remote control.
Thank you very much for your kind consultation.
I am in trouble because the support of the purchaser does not support me at all, so it is very helpful. View attachment 135429 View attachment 135430 View attachment 135431 View attachment 135432
When mine was malfunctioning when I first got it, I disconnected it for a couple days and then tried reconnecting and everything started working fine. I wonder if there is a rechargeable battery that had to die to reset it and that took a couple days. Not sure but it seemed to do the trick for me. It has now been working fine for 13 months. There is also a reset button on the black box that you could try. By the way I had the original kit where I had to solder all the wires to the remote. So, knowing you have a clip to install your old remote, I would double check if it is clicked in fully and maybe add some di-electric silicone to the contacts to make sure they have a good connection. A few more suggestions... Good luck.

Bingo, perfect approach, which even works. And in the end it needs a Trump with his "America first" agenda...

No no, of course, they have good things. For example AI technology at its finest, they are the absolute world market leader in "managing and protecting" people with superior seamless SMART City solutions.

I guess you can "feel it", I have certain reservations about the "main thing cheap", "maximum profit" and "no matter what happens then" behavior.

Well, I’m not against the technology, I’m only against the mess that is needed to install the start/stop button just to avoid turning the key. I installed the Gen2 in my car and I’m very happy with the result, and I’m sure a lot of people may also think that it ain’t worth it, but that wasn’t my case and as I said, I’m happy with it.

All true - can't do any of that without some proper tubes to dive it all. KT88 comes to mind. As far as the little mechanical works of art go for your wrist, my wife developed a 6th sense about those so I can't even think about them without a tin foil hat on to block her spying rays! No man should go without ticking chunks of metal on their wrist.

I asked my old man if I could have his Marantz from storage, he said sure. It was the old aluminum ones, excellent quality.

...he dropped off a box with an old VCR in it.
