Cars and nice dry weather is whole reason I moving south. [email protected] meets every sunny Sat. here March to Oct. June every weekend was rained out. Summer is finally here and had a good track day Friday. Most likely sell my MINI track car before heading south. Can't find enough garage plus focused on building the new house for a year. East side of Troon Mt and will rent near by if possible. Maserati is going to see a lot more use. I will be seeing everyone around and hopefully on some drives. Looking forward to driving the Maserati to AZ. It will be a nice road trip. I will have Carlo here do a service before I leave.
Car could use a detail but will most likely wait till after the road trip. Clear bra has a nick out of it and needs to get repaired or replaced. I might go full hood if there is no line from the old.

Next cars and coffee event in Scottsdale is Saturday Dec 1st. I plan to be there. The November turn out was great. So many cool and rare cars. My 05' coupe GT was once again one of two Maserati's there. This is compared to over a dozen Ferrari. Would be cool to have a few more Masers there. Here is the location again: Schedule and Map

I was hoping to have moved south by now but now luck selling the house up here. Heading down this Thursday and Friday for work and to look at a rent to own. 4 car garage but way north in Carefree and a bit far out. Why I like the Maser. They are much more rare than a Ferrari.

Bummer on the house not selling for you. Hope you have better luck with it in coming months. Thankfully, cars and coffee is every month, so it will be here when you eventually get settled.

Cheers!

I went to the Feb. C&C event. Didn't have my car but there it was a great turn out. It was cold! Great variety of cars but get there early to get a good spot. I ended keeping my place up north and we bought a second place in DC Ranch. Closing Tuesday and going down next weekend. Need the truck to haul a trailer down and her new beetle. Trying to figure out how and when to swap the truck for the Maser. There will be lots of road miles this year.
Looking forward to the move and the dry weather.

Cars & Coffee is this Saturday at The Shops of Gainey Village. How about a greet & meet get together
for all of us local Phoenix Maserati owners. Turn out should be over 150 cars. For those not familiar with this event go to Desert-Motors.com; click on "gallery"; then click on "cars and coffee" and see what you have been missing over the past several years. This month I will be bringing my 04 gold CC coupe.
I suggest you get there between 6:15 & 6:45AM.

Wow that is early but I can see good parking is at a premium and the weather cool. I am leaving at 3AM for Scottsdale with my Maserati. Had a one day delay in leaving as I was waiting for "Drier for the AC system". I had it flushed and refilled along with her 30K service.
MapQuest says 25 hours and 1468 miles for the route I am taking. Mostly all 2 lane black tops through the high desert and mountains. Done the trip 5 times in the last year so I have my favorite route for the 18 hour endurance haul. Getting late in the season as they will most likely be frost crossing the mountains early heading southeast out of PDX. First 2 hours is all freeway but hours 3 and 4 is remote mountain driving until the sun comes up around Prineville, OR. My fastest time is 18 hours 17 minutes and I am hoping to crack 18 in the Maserati. Have a new more remote short cut for 2 hours heading South of Burns, OR heading to Battle Mountain NV. Reports are good and these roads tends to be way better than they look on the map. Smooth pavement and good striping and no traffic or towns!
I did this trip in 19.5 in a MINI Van with the wife and 2 cats. Lack of top speed was the killer.

Not sure if the car will be detailed or not. I might just bring it with 1500 miles of road wear on her set up like I ran her. In my fast trip in my MINI JCW I hit 3 birds at speed plus it was late spring so lots of bugs. Car is black and it looked like it had just run a high speed rally.
I forgot it was this weekend and had already but a ticket back to WA for Sat. morning for $100 on US Air. They wanted $600 to change it so I used miles on Alaska to attend the show. Hopefully see you all Sat. with no flat tires or break downs. About the only 2 towns with service along my route is PDX and Vegas. Just need to make sure I have GPS and Radar. I forgot the lighter port is an odd size! See you all Early Sat. morning. Can try and keep the maser's all together if we get there early.

I'll be out of town so will miss this month's C&C. I went to several last year and really enjoyed all the cars that show up. I was frequently only 1 of 2 or 3 Maserati's to show up. Good to hear more are showing interest.

Hello, I've only had my Maserati for about 6 months. So I'm new to this forum. I was wondering where you guys take your cars other than FM dealer. I'm getting a "suspension system failure light". ;(.
Thanks in advance.
Victor Peru.
oh, and I'm also interested in those meetings here in Phoenix, AZ!

I went to Sports Car & Collector to get my car serviced. Everything went well. Except that the green service light was never reset. I was supposed to come in a week after I got my service done so they can reset the light. But it's already March, and I still have that green light coming on. I got my car serviced in November last year!!!. Every time I called and speak to JOE from Sports Car & Collector, he tells me "let me call you back" but never does. I'm starting to think he never even changed the oil in my car....
