Went to leasetrader.com to see what kind of cars people wanted out of their leases.

There are three Maseratis listed. There is an 06 coupe that is 1,668.26 per month for 48 months... Leased through Maserati Finance Co. You get up to 1,000 mile per month I wonder what the purchase price was and the residual?

Months Remaining: 35
Original Lease Term: 48
Lease End Buyout: 82,283
Lease End Date: March 2011
Excess Miles Charge: .20c
Contractual Lease Payment:
$1,668.26 p/month

Both QPs are over 2,000 a month. Are Maseratis really this expensive to lease? I thought MNA was offering some very attractive deals?

Wouldn't it depend on the initial down payment?

At any rate the $82K residual at the end of 3 years is a joke.

All cars are expensive to lease.

Most manufacturers make far more $ on the financing/leasing than on the actual sale of the car!

In 1981 when Chrysler almost went bust and they received $1.5 billion in financing, they paid it all back in a few years due to the return on the financing!

Save your $ and buy something less expensive.
