Are factory service manuals available for 02 & up Masers

Anyone know if factory service manuals are available to the public?

These are the giant books used by dealers and other shops for repairs and specifications, not like a Chiltons or Haynes manual. These are very detailed manuals with every torque spec, every voltage level, and oftern every part number. Other makes have these on their line of cars and they normally cost several hundred dollars.

Just curious if anyone here has a lead before I contact the dealer to see if they can be purchased.

Last year I called my dealer and asked if the manuals were available. He said they were not, presumably to protect the dealer's investment.

we don't even have actual manuals, from what i have seen, everything is on cdrom

Oooo! CDs are even better as long as they include all the good info! Do you know if these are available to the public for purchase?
